Our Wedding 7/23/11
We held our reception at a local banquet hall, and it was a great party!  We started the evening with the cake cutting and a few toasts before dinner
After dinner we started with the traditional dances.  Jonathan and I had our first dance to Stuck Like Glue, by Sugarland
Then my dad and I had the Father-Daughter dance.  We danced to I Loved Her First by Heartland, but first I surprised him with a little bit of the Chicken Dance, which he said was "our song" from when I was little.
Jonathan and his mom honored their Polish heritage with a polka as their Mother-Son dance
Finally, to get everyone in a dancing mood, we had our bridal party join us for a group dance.  We surprised our guests with a little choreographed number which included clips of Hot'n'Cold, Tik Tok, and Dynamite.  We didn't even practice the dance until the rehearsal dinner, and it was pretty rough, but we had fun!
The bouquet and garter toss were surprisingly well attended.  One of our groomsmen caught the garter, and his younger sister caught the bouquet (at her first wedding, ever!)
We had a sundae bar as a little extra treat.  I think the kids were almost as excited for it as Jonathan and I!  The guests took home the ceramic icecream bowls as their favor for the evening.
The rest of the evening is just a blur
of dancing and good times with friends and family!
